Fresh GPS'ing by the City of Penticton
Last week, the City of Penticton sent techs' in with GPS equipment in order to re-mark the property lines above the most northeast end of the Pleasant Valley / Campbell Mt. access area.
I went up late this afternoon and had a look; as it turns out, things look great for land access now that the new lines are plainly laid out. Depending on what city engineers come up with, [if] this area is selected as the new Campbell Mt. public access route, we may see a set of stairs with landings leading up to a low plateau on Campbell's flank, or a short, but heavily shored up side-slope trail leading to an established road (old two-track).
