Topic: 'Cycling the Katy Trail'

Time: Noon - 1 PM

Speaker: Craig Henderson

Here in Penticton, we are blessed with a scenic rail trail that takes visitors and locals past our vineyards and pastoral landscapes. Local cycling advocate Craig Henderson recently travelled to Missouri to bike 240 miles on the oldest and longest rail trail in the USA. The Katy Trail passes by a wine growing region dating from the mid-1800s, and follows the wide and muddy Missouri River along historic routes of Daniel Boone and Lewis and Clark.

If you require any further information or have questions about the lecture series, please do not hesitate to contact the Penticton Museum at (250) 490- 2454 or email: peter.ord@penticton.ca
