Meeting for potential volunteers!

If you are interested in volunteering for Penticton's first Bike To Work Week we are having a volunteer meeting this Thursday (March 5th) at 7pm at the RDOS office (101 Martin).

If you can't make the meeting but are interested in finding out more you can email Kate Bergen kbergen@rdos.bc.ca

Volunteer Opportunities:
Team leader for their office.
Roving Refreshemnt tents Tues/Wed/Thur/Fri mornings.
Monday Breakfast
Friday Barbeque
Finding sponsors/money
Postering
Other???

Most importantly we need you to spread the word! Tell your friends! Tell the people you work with! This is shaping up to be a huge success!

When is Bike to work week??

If the bike to work week is a success that we should go to a bike to work year!!!

I ride to work all year long and would have a hard time trading two wheels for four plus gas etc.

The First Annual Penticton Bike to Work Week is May 11-15. If you are interested in getting your company involved let me know! Or if you are interested in volunteering or helping out in an way also let me know!

There is a tonne of enthusiasm surrounding this already. There will be great prizes, a Monday morning pancake breakfast, a Friday evening barbeque, and a daily roving Celebration Station with snacks, coffee and prizes.

The First Annual Penticton Bike To Work Week was a resounding success. We exceeded all expectations for the first year, with 71 registered teams, and over 300 riders!

Thanks everyone! I can't wait until next year!
