Powers Creek Mountain Bike Trail

Any readers ever been to Powers Creek? Worth a ride? What condition is the trail surface in?

Anyone interested in riding it to find out?

Andrew a couple guys at work rave about the trails or stunts up there. It has some very big woodwork so a 'dh' bike would be ideal. I have wanted to go up there for about 3 weeks now. I could get us a guide?................Curt

I have a map that Smoke made last year, but I wanted to see what the actual [trail surface] looked like, as the map shows a lot of fall-line style trails... If its so steep that its unrideable / just a bunch of erosion-trenchs, then that would be a waste of vert', but I'm game to check it out first-hand.

If it totally sucked, we could always go ride Rose Valley while we are in the area... just bring two bikes each when we go up, and lots of locks...

I can borrow a friend's DH bike for the adventure. Do you wanna' plan on a trip up there for next weekend?

Let's go check it out , you could borrow the 'dh' bike but I have a feeling that even with one, some of the stunts will still be too big.?. But good fun !

Sorry about Saturday, but it's Louise's birthday on Sat,. the 15th (yes, back to back with mine!) and even I, the guy who makes any excuse in the world to ride, can't get away with buggering off with da' boyz' on my gal's birthday!
