WeirWolf Comp. 2.3's
Arrrg! There is nothing like new rubber (and new brakes!)
Rode today's Apex Resort adventure decked out with a new pair of WTB WeirWolf tires;

...and can happily report that they are everything that I would have hoped for in my last tire-swap; which found me with huge tires (IRC Trailbears, which I kinda' loved the volume of) but some of the sketchiest cornering that I've yet experienced (which I despised).
The traction on these suckers is superb (note the extremely aggro' tread) and in spite of the uber-knobiness, the tire sheds mud as well as an Onza Porcupine. Cornering confidence has been upped by about 110% and weight is down from my last pair of 2.5" Gonzo Tires.
If you're in the market for an excellent, confidence-inspiring tire, lemme' know and I'll point you to where I got em' for a song!
