Did you get to ride along the KVR riverside there as well? We dropped down to and onto it last year after riding one of their excellent singletrack trails (which pops out onto the KVR) and really enjoyed the change of pace in the whole KVR experience.

We went and explored the town section of KVR today. It is excellent through town. Mostly paved. An excellent new bridge that crosses the river and excellent views!
This is a great section of the KVR for families and the casual cyclist.
