Hmm, so that's what a light mountain bike feels like to ride... freakishly fast! Am currently DEMO'ing a new Scott 650b (27.5" tire). Took it for a spin on the Campbell Classic loop this afternoon, with a focus on 'feeling' a trail that I knew really well.

I cannot tell if this afternoon's ride ended up being a lightning-speed loop because A) the wheels are bigger and there is less rolling resistance, B) the bike is a hella' lot lighter than my Blur LT or C) all of the above plus I was dialed to be on a new bike...

At any rate, its a really nice piece of equipment! If finances were not a question, I'd definitely buy this one for the quiver!
