Cartwright Mt. 'Championship Course' Empty Cartwright Mt. 'Championship Course'

I've been spending a lot of time in the north-west section of Cartwright Mt. in Summerland these past few days and have discovered that the slopes offer an absolute paradise of trails already in place. The area not only sports countless routes of all shapes and sizes, but offers absolutely perfect terrain for future trail expansion. This might be a great location to look at for land tenure agreements. A few of the trails have been routed with motorized vehicles in mind, but there is no reason that, with land-owner (Crown) permission, we couldn't throw in a few switchbacks to circumnavigate the ultra-steep spots... On the other hand, there is such a jaw-dropping variety of trails, we could simply ride the stuff not used by quads. If you have Google Earth installed, check out this 'fly-over' of the area:

Flyover of the 'Championship Course'

It'll open Google Earth and hover over the area. Now open the 'Sidebar' (VIEW / SIDEBAR). Scroll down to see the 'Garnet Mt. Championship Course' listing. Double-click on it and a small green-icon will appear beneath it. Single-click on the green icon once - now click on the PLAY (arrow) button... enjoy! You can also move the horizontal slider you see under the green icon to the left to fade or remove the fly-route - which is a simplified version of the actual GPS track. The 'show' will look a little blocky at first, but if you run the show a time or two, it'll 'cache' enough of the terrain to create a smooth, higher resolution fly-over thereafter.
