Bose 901 Loudspeakers

Odd question of the day, but "hey, you never know if you don't ask"...

Do any of you out there, or anyone you know living in the South Okanagan - own a set of Bose 901 Loudspeakers?

I might be in the market for a set, and I'd like to sit down and have a listen to them.  Bose has this insane store policy of not allowing potential buyers to audition their flagship loudspeaker... (!!!) WTF?

Nope, I've been to their main retail outlet in Vancouver and all of their 901's are boxed / not on display -- which blows my mind...

If someone wants to hear them, they have to purchase them, take them home, audition them there, and then return them for a partial refund - plus pay shipping - if they don't like the speaker.

This marketing policy must have been devised by a Republican / Conservative (yes, a hybrid-cross between the two)
