Kelowna CX Race Report
I would say this was the toughest race course of the year. I thought last weeks course in Vernon was tough. This one was even more relentless on the body with no real areas to catch your breath. When you weren't pedaling, you were trying to stay upright and then straight away back on the gas.
I changed up the grippage this week after spending last week on tyres made more for commuting. It helped a lot on the slick grass sections. The longer grass around the tennis court was very momentum killing until it got a few tyres over it.
There were a few riders from Penticton and several from the club. Again it was a great race turn out as Cyclocross racing is start to take up momentum here in the Interior.
No crashes this week which i'm happy to say.
