BCs first year round Gravity Park

They raised  $94,596CAD for a Gravity Park.

   To create a place that directly benefits the community, provides new jobs, and encourages kids and youth to get outside and enjoy nature

   Provide a gravity-fed mountain bike park with trails for every level of enthusiast

   Be the first park to provide lift access riding year round

   Your contributions will support trail construction and other rider friendly infrastructure. Help us set a new standard for “bike park” trails. The more support we receive from you, the rider, the more trails we will create for you to come and ride!

   We are currently accepting bids for several lift options. Our target decision date is January 2014 with a completion window of summer 2014 to spring 2015.

When I bought my tickets last night, they had 4hr left and were at $89,000!
I should double check how much I donated.

You should have put the money down for the $10000 Lifetime Pass for only 25 years.

But this is what we need in Penticton. A lift for all day Gravity fun.

Well, then we would need to build a hill high enough and import coastal dirt.

We could use roadies at the bottom spinning away generating the power for the lifts.
Everybody wins! Just put a couple vials of steroids ahead of the spin bikes and those guys will go for hours trying to reach them.

You wouldn't get a roadie to sit on a spin bike, you might have more luck getting those triathlete guys doing that though.
