3 Blind Mice - North Sections

Spent the afternoon in a section of the Mice that I've not been to before; the North end, above Naramata. Instead of entering at the Pearly Gates, I started where Arawana Rd. intersects with the KVR. I then rode south on the KVR 1.5km until I spotted an obvious trail exiting the KVR to the left and hooked up with it.

This is the rattlesnake / Bull-Pass entry. It hooks up with Quail, Far Out, Bobcat, Lynx and the Far Out Ridge. The terrain is fantastic - much less trafficked than the routes above the Pearly Gates and thus in great shape. The area may look small on the map, but it offers more than enough for an easy afternoon of riding solo – or in my case, with my trusty old pooch. At any rate, it’s a nice change from the ‘regular’ entry to the Mice and definitely worth a look.
