Apex Mt. Race Series (Motor-Bike)

This past weekend myself and several riders completed a circuit around the Apex lowlands (Prometheus / Riorden / Beaconsfield / Nickel Plate Lake) and discovered that the local dirt bike club has set up a course for a large event there this weekend.

We were a little ticked off that they would ride on the single-track trails - and I sent off an email to the fellows responsible for the layout.

Diesel responded promptly and assured me that the last thing he wanted to do was destroy the trail systems up there and that no matter what gets destroyed, himself and friends will repair the trails back to pre-race form.

I think that he has more work ahead of him than he bargains for - but time will tell...

As such, until the race is over, lets give him the benefit of the doubt and lay off the angry phone calls & emails. Diesel tells me that a number of people have been contacting him - upset with the race event.

Hopefully this turns out ok.
