Junior Mountain Bike Rides, Fall Schedule

I have a proposed schedule made up for the fall junior mountain bike club. Couldn't attach it as the file is too big. Rides are presently scheduled for Saturday morning, 9 am, meeting at the trailhead, which are convenient to mine and another parents home.

Note there is a proposed race, and a skills day, with prizes. I'm asking for $20 for each participant in the club to buy the prizes for those days.

Presently, these rides are not PACA rides. I'll be suggesting to all parents to sign up themselves, and thier kids to PACA.

Since these rides are excellent for any beginner looking to get into mountain biking and see a few different trails, anyone is invited to join us . Note that we go over some pretty tough trails, but at a slower pace, so this is a good oppurtunity to build skills.

If we have enough participation, the skills day and race will have both an under 10, and over 10 division. We will have a handicap system based on age.

Finally, the minimum youth to parent ratio is 3:1. We presently have 3 parents who ride with this group, so we can accomodate a few youths who join for parents who don't bike or have work committments. Ride sharing is also available.
