WARD1 + Rock Oven Trail Mntc. and WARD1 / Rock Oven Signage

A group consisting of new and familiar faces headed up for some much-needed trail maintenance on Rock Oven to the Sign-In Book, as well as some very helpful signage on WARD1 + Rock Oven.

We split into Cleanup / Signage crews, so I didn't get pics' of the other crew's task, but grabbed a few snaps of the work Jeremy and I conducted.

This explains why we couldn't see anybody working. We limped up to watch some trail work but Ellis Creek was devoid of life.

Ya', we have to return the BC Parks access key on Monday, so decided that it would be best to get the tools out, posts dug in, signs up before we lost access to the area by vehicle...

Watch out for this critter, a little ways below the start of Kraut on the road section, it is not very friendly!!!
