Mt.Keogan - "5-Lakes Loop"
A dozen of us rode Mt.Keogan's 5-Lakes Loop this evening; what a beauty ride, followed by a compfire, beer and stories among friends; life is good!

I rode my very first singletrack on a 29'r! Its dangerous to lust after something so much, especially when its something that you really don't need... but was so much fun! The Kona 2.9 that I tried out is an amazing / inspiring ride.
If it had a comfortable seat (came with a racer-boy saddle) a riser bar (it sports a flat-bar) and beefier tires (deeper tread) then I'd say that this wheel-size / frame-type is hands-down more efficient / smoother and offers an improved contact patch / solid cornering compared to a standard 26" wheeled bike. Try one before you think about buying your next bike. And I don't mean the parking lot or two minutes along the trail, swapping with a friend.
Ride a full circuit that you know well; I can assure you that you'll be amazed (and just a little bit in-lust).
