West Apex Trail Network

We only get up to the West Apex Trail Network once or twice a year, so make the most of it each time. Gary, Graham, Peter, Jeremy, John and I headed up bright and early today - and quickly found ourselves doing mechanical work roadside, pre-ride.

The trail pierced through mind-numbing quantities of wildflowers

At some points, the entire trail was obscured by flowers - Beauty!




Ya', its nearly August - and yes, that is snow!

Today's "Wildlife" WTF - Toads at 6000' elevation!?




New clear-cuts were apparent in several locations on the flanks of Beaconsfield / Apex Proper
