Naramata Road Empty Naramata Road

Post  dex Sun Apr 19, 2009 11:14 pm

Hey Andrew can you or one the higher ups in the Cycling club use your political clout and get the City Of Penticton Works Dept. moving and sweep those Naramata Rd. shoulders? Tell them that the Argo end of the road all the way out to Indian Rock has been swept for weeks now.

That may embarrass them into action. Maybe.

Yep.
Spillars' Corner out to the City Limits where Argo takes over.

Did some digging. The cat you want to speak with is here;

http://www.penticton.ca/contacts/emailform.asp?ID=133

I ask that you contact him directly as your voice is every bit as effective as mine or anyone on the board of directors. We're all tax payers and are equal in the eyes of council. Let us know what he says and we'll also pitch in and lobby for the cause.

Naramata Road Empty T.C.T

Wow - a second minor miracle to report; I emailed the city about an 8" metal stud which was sticking up in the middle of the Trans Canada Trail where it intersects with Pickering St. This post receptor has been without a post since last fall. I reported it to them on Sunday night and it was removed and concreted over this (Monday) evening!

Whether both of our happy experiences in dealing with the city have been flukes or perhaps they actually take out gripes seriously, I don’t' know, but so far, so good.

For the rest of you who have a valid complaint that you wish to discuss with City of Penticton workers, here is the magic list to peruse;
