search and rescue

For anyone that is interested, Penticton & District Search & Rescue needs more volunteers.There will be an open house on Thurs.Nov. 8 at 7:00pm at 211-Dawson Ave. Pent. More info is available on their website www.pensar.ca plus there will be some info coming out in the Herald and Western.
Of particular interest may be the newly formed mountain bike team.
Come on out to the open house and learn more about Search and Rescue.

There is a Mountain Bike Search Rescue Team?

There sure is...albeit shy a few members.
I started the team sometime in the spring.We have been out on about 4 different calls so far.Had a few practice and mock searches.More plans in store for next season and also ongoing.
