Conkle Mountain

I went up Conkle Mountain (Summerland) this morning. Surprisingly, the trail is snow free and strangely dry. I didn't even need to clean my bike when I got home. Tacky, tacky, tacky trail conditions.

Conkle Mt. is one of those great, forgotten rides in the valley. I love the vistas off the summit, the spine trail and the wild and crazy descent. That's one ride that doesn't get enough "good press" -- and not a quad or dirt-bike to be seen or heard because its a regional park. Doesn't that sound like an ideal situation for Campbell Mt.? :-)
