Campbell Mt. Garbage dumping

So morons-ahoy have taken to leaving garbage at the old north parking lot entry. The odds of catching them and ripping their nuts off in a vise... are slim, so I figure that the "right thing to do" is to throw it all in the back of a pickup and bring it down to the garbage dump.

The catch is that I don't have a pickup truck.

If anyone reading this has a truck and is willing to take on this worthwhile task, I'll make arrangements for the dump to allow you free access / no tipping fees. They do this by licence number. we've set this up in the past with the RDOS.

Any takers? It's only 30min of work for a good cause, and I'll pitch in for gas.

If I can get help taking the camper of my truck and lowered onto patio blocks (4 guys - 5 minutes), my old truck would be free.

You could contact RDOS illegal dumping. They will waive landfill charges. Also, if they get enough complaints they MIGHT do something about it.

Good call Rowena. I spoke with the RDOS this morning and they are going to send trucks up there to clean it up! Thank you for the offer Pierre - much appreciated.

Personally speaking, I found the sight of that crap at the beginning and end of each Campbell Mt. ride to be an extreme buzz-kill!
