First Aid update
FYI PACA members: We've have 11 signed up for the course as of April 13. Remember that ride leaders have priority so its not too late to sign up if you are going to be a ride leader. Thanks,
Gary

Set a date?
Can you please contact the instructor and set a date that we can run the course? I feel that 11 is a good number, more than that might be a handful for the instructor.
Appreciate all of your work on this project!

Date is set
We have 12 people and it goes May 2, start at 9am upstairs at the #1 Firehall located at 250 Nanaimo Ave. West. Payment for the course manual ($25) can be paid on the day of the course. Wayne is looking forward to meeting everyone and getting you trained.
If you haven't signed up yet but would like to, send me an email and I'll put you on the wait list.

Thanks Wayne!!!
Many thanks to Wayne (a Penticton firefighter and Red Cross first aid instructor) for donating his Saturday to get our first aid skills up to snuff (and to Gary for organizing us).
Between sicknesses and last minute commitments, the numbers dwindled slightly to eight PACA members (Aaron, Arik, Dave, Karl, Lucy, Nicola, Peter, and Rowena) who ended up participating. Wayne did a great job of tailoring the class to things that cyclists might encounter both in our day to day lives and on our bikes.
But don't think that we necessarily want to practise those skills on you - be careful out there!

Don't worry, you're in safe hands.
