Free Canadian topo maps (the famous green ones)

there are also tons of aerial photos and landsatdata if you have some proficiency with GIS software. I use memory map to load the topo maps i download. If you pay for this product instead of just the free version, it allows seamless merging of any of these maps. Once on the geogratis web site, search by product, select topographic and all scales. You can search and download by NTS mapsheet number, postal code or location. These maps will not load onto a gps that i know of, but are still mega-useful for planning and post trip route checking. let me know if you are having trouble, but if i figured it it, probably you can too.
