Seymour Arm "Vacation"

After wrapping up the latest edition of the Penticton Bike Festival, Louise and I sequestered ourselves away to the northernmost (or nearly so) reaches of the Shuswap; in this case, Seymour Arm. A friend had offered us a cabin on the lake for a few days - with one caveat: its fly or paddle in only. Lacking an aeroplane... we chose to paddle up the arm, and then across the lake to gain access. The weather cooperated, and we were welcomed to the area by some of the most amazing, glass-flat paddling that I've seen to date. The pictures tell the story:
