Penticton rings bell on new bike plan
Cyclists met with city officials and a cycling expert from Europe at the announcement of Penticton’s new bike plan on Thursday.
It seemed natural to have the event held during Bike to Work Week.
“We thought this was the perfect time to launch it with a lot of cyclists out this week,” said Simone Blais, communications officer for the city. “We are trying to be aware of where people live and where they want to go.”
