Ellis FSR / Wright Passage / Jamie's / The Fox / Kraut
We finally pulled it off! PACA and Co. had an excellent adventure in the high country this afternoon. Five of us, along with our shuttle-master Gary, headed for the Ellis Canyon FSR to complete a 3200 foot vertical drop back into the valley below! Myself, Andrew Dw., Jeremy, John and Kwaker - with his spanking fancy new carbon Trek 9.9 (!!!) showed up, ready to face the trail.
Along the way we encountered everything from overgrown logging roads to sweet singletrack, rocky staircase trails to uber-technical descents. A few short sections demanded footwork, while others allowed us to let er' rip like never before!
The route covered numerous trails, including Ellis FSR / Wright Passage / Jamie's Extn. / The Fox and the Kraut trail on our way back down to the Skaha Bluffs parking lot.
Through all of this, we enjoyed a flat and mechanical free descent with some of the best weather one could ask for. John managed to do some soil-sampling near the top however, at a cost of one new helmet; but luckily he suffered no damages.
Pics of the day below;
Sweet Singletrack (it wasn't all this sweet, but ya' take what ya' get)
Krew on Jamie's Extension
Beauty views and challenging terrain
Near the end of the drop

Great pictures Andrew.
I did this ride on Monday in reverse,climbing up from Eastside R. but turning off to go into Derenzy Lk.
Tough going.
Not recommended: 2 hrs 30 min. steady climbing,........ but its now off the list.
