South Okanagan - Property Ownership

Received this document from the Nature Trust the other day. It lays out 'who owns what' in an area of the valley which is seeing use by more and more riders. In a nutshell, they want us to stay out of the areas that are purple and cross-hatched, as well as the yellow cross-hatched zones - they wouldn't mind if we avoided the lease areas as well...

The attached file is their latest area map, stretched down upon the surface of Google Earth like Saran-Wrap. This makes it really easy to see the real 'what & where' about the place - but you'll need a copy of Google Earth ( earth.google.com ) to view the file.

If you're going to download the file from the link below using Internet Explorer, then you'll need to know how to 'unzip' files as it'll be 'zipped' if you use Internet Explorer to download it. I recommend that you run the free FireFox web browser http://en-us.www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox as it downloads and presents the file correctly without mucking about.
