Jose's Ride

Tuesday, Nov.11th - An excellent day for a ride (aren't they all?)... About 20-odd individuals (odd individuals?), made the trek to the top of Campbell Mt. to remember "The Dude" Jose this morning/afternoon. Following this, we split into a handful of sub-groups and descended with a fury down the slopes on all sides. The group I was in did a loop around the backside, avoided the 'Wankers' climb (why?), and popped out at the north side parking lot. Afterwards we were treated to a free coffee at Smith & Co., care of the Bike Barn, for great discussions with fine folks. Saw a few friends that I haven’t had the opportunity to speak with in years; it was all good!

I've posted the Google Earth .kmz file here for those of you who are interested in having a look at the route we took down the Mt., not that’s its important, but looking at in "3-D" is always kinda' cool.

I took several pictures of the top-group, but don't have the "official Group Picture"; if anyone has a copy, an upload of it would be great!
